FUNCTIONS:

Planning and designing leadership and strategic training needs

Managing trainings of Principal Officers of Universities and Young Lecturers (under 35 years of age) organised by AKEPT
-
Coordinating the preparation of monthly and annual reports for the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) and university management
-
Organising strategic or leadership courses; To implement courses/training programmes for income generation purposes as planned:

Managing and processing staff applications according to courses/trainings/seminars/workshops organized by external agencies
-
Managing and processing staff applications for overseas courses/trainings
-
Conducting courses in collaboration with government/private agencies at federal and state levels
-
Managing professional certification courses
-
Providing staff expertise directory (SME)
-
Conducting courses in collaboration with responsibility centres
-
Coordinating the needs of training systems and improvement of training systems
-
Preparing training reports periodically for MOHE/AKEPT and the University
-
Conducting in-house courses
-
Organizing UTeM Terbilang courses (Orientation & Undertakings)
-
Organizing Program Transformasi Minda (PTM)
-
Managing the programme statement organised by the Melaka State Government
-
Managing the monitoring and compliance of staff attendance for trainings
-
